Sciatica is a symptom that affects the sciatic nerves that run through a person’s legs. This often causes pain, tingling, numbness, or weakness in the legs.

There are many conditions that can cause sciatica, such as degenerative disc disease, spondylolisthesis, lumbar herniated disc, or spinal stenosis. Some of the symptoms associated with Sciatica are pain in the leg or buttock, pain while sitting, sharp pain when sitting or walking, and pain that radiates down the leg.
